Welcome to Mrs. Casanova's School Counseling Website!

I am a School Counselor for Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13, currently serving Dayspring Christian Academy, Hinkletown Mennonite School, and Mount Calvary Christian School. It is my honor and pleasure to work with students, providing small group and individual counseling and classroom lessons, and to collaborate with families, school staff, and community to best serve the needs of my students.

I have been serving high school students and families in Lancaster County as a School Counselor since January 2000. With 6 years experience working in student services at two colleges, 8 years working with adults as a vocational rehab counselor, and over 18 years experience working in public schools before moving to non-public, I am blessed with a unique perspective on high school students. I am passionate about helping students navigate their journey toward their post-secondary goals! I serve as your partner and part of the school team to assist students with any issue that may affect their college/career goals, their social/emotional interactions, and their academic needs.

My husband, Lou, and I have two adult children, Louie and Thresia, and three fur-kids. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering as a mentor in several support groups, camping, bird-watching, reading, and travel.
